Zirconium oxide is a ceramic material without the addition of glass, which is made of very fine grains. It is the quality of the zirconium oxide powder grains that determines whether the zirconia block will fulfill its task.
The advantages and properties of zirconium discs are mainly high crush resistance, crack resistance, fine-grained structure, biocompatibility and biocompatibility. In addition, it guarantees high tightness of the crown and precise adherence to the natural dentition. It does not cause any allergies in patients. Thanks to their abrasion resistance, zirconium teeth can be used for a very long time, combining quality with a very high aesthetic effect.
We also offer PMMA blocks . PMMA is a popular material made of polymethyl methacrylate. It is a resin that is great for making crowns and bridges for temporary restorations. The big advantage of the material is its biodegradability, thanks to which it burns without any residue. In addition, PMMA has a high bending strength> 80MPa, natural fluorescence and high transparency. It is very easy to mill with only minimal wear on the cutters. It costs about PLN 80 for a disc in any Vita color and regardless of the height, from which up to 30 points can be cut - this makes it one of the favorite materials of prosthetists.
Acrylic resin has great potential, thanks to which it is constantly being improved. PMMA multilayer is already a standard, which ensure smoother transitions of layers of a given color.
