Trainer T4K I and II phase

T4K Trainer

Indications for use:

• The habit of sucking on various objects.
• Premature loss of primary teeth and hereditary conditions can cause crooked positioning of teeth.
• Speech defects with tongue dysfunction or poor positioning of the tongue when swallowing interfere with the proper positioning of the dental arches in relation to each other.
• Too tight muscles in the mouth and cheeks press on the teeth, which disrupts their proper alignment in the arch.

Benefits when using:

• The trainer prevents the tongue, lips and cheeks from getting stuck between the dental arches. This way, the growing teeth can move into the correct position.
• When the trainer is applied correctly, the correct jaw position is achieved.
• Breathing through the nose and not moving the tongue contribute to the correct corrective action.
• Initial pre-orthodontic correction for children with mixed dentition.

Types and sizes:

• It comes in one size but in two varieties.
• In the first phase, a trainer made of highly flexible pink or blue silicone is used.
• In the second phase of the trainer, the color is red, made of a slightly stiffer material.

T4A Trainer

The T4A trainer is responsible for aligning and maintaining the correct positioning of the teeth of the front teeth of the permanent dentition. It is intended for patients over 15 years of age.

A description of the action :

• The higher walls around the canines guide the erupting canines and the longer distal ends are specifically for second molars. The combination of labial arches and dental canals with a two-level hardness scale and polyurethane material ensures proper alignment of the front teeth. By exercising the oral muscles, this trainer ensures maintaining the effects and reducing the risk of recurrence of the defect.

There are two types of T4A trainer used in two subsequent treatment phases:

• First phase trainer initial color blue or transparent.
• Second phase trainer final color red or transparent.

Indications:

• Cosmetic alignment of anterior teeth without the use of orthodontic brackets.
• Alignment of anterior teeth with simultaneous treatment with dental arch widening appliances.
• Retention after treatment with orthodontic brackets
• Correction of anterior teeth in case of minor recurrences after orthodontic treatment
• Correction of mild Class II cases and deep bites in the permanent dentition.
