This revolutionary material offers exceptional quality and aesthetics and covers a wide range of dental indications – from single crowns to 14-unit bridges – and enables a wide range of processing techniques.

IPS ZirCAD Prime is a "One-Disc Solution" material that allows you to achieve the highest quality results while optimizing the efficiency and costs of dental laboratories.

Gradient Technology (GT), which is used to manufacture IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime, represents a new, unique manufacturing method in which the high-translucent 3Y-TZP zirconia and the highly translucent 5Y-TZP zirconia are combined in a very unique way.

  • Due to the high strength of the IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime material, we can use it in every clinical case - from single crowns to 14-unit bridges. What's more, it can be used to produce restorations with very thin walls.

Application:

  • full contour crowns;
  • full contour 3-unit bridges;
  • full contour 4-unit bridges;
  • large bridges, with a maximum of two points in a span;
  • hats;
  • 3-point or multi-point bridge substructures with a maximum of 2 points per span.

Processing techniques:

  • dyeing
  • cut-back;
  • layering;
  • Infiltration technique.

Advantages:

  • 650 MPa (5Y-TZP) bending resistance in the incisal edge section, where a high level of translucency and high strength are expected;
  • uninterrupted color and translucency progression thanks to GT technology;
  • 1200 MPa (3Y- TZP) bending resistance in the dentin zone - where the highest forces act and where the greatest opacity is expected;
  • > 5 MPa x m1 /2 fracture toughness;
  • Reduced sintering times increase the efficiency of everyday laboratory tasks;
  • Restorations made of IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime can be sintered in accelerated sintering processes;
  • Various types of restorations made of IPS e.max ZirCAD materials can be sintered in the same process.
