IPS Ivocolor is a universal set of stains and glazes intended for the individual staining and characterization of ceramic materials. The material is compatible with the veneering (layering technique), press and CAD ceramics from Ivoclar Vivadent.

The ceramic material IPS InLine is a leucite ceramic, the production of which partly uses natural raw materials. Natural feldspars are a mixture of potassium feldspar and sodium feldspar. From the potassium feldspar, which is the main component in the ceramic material, leucite crystals are formed in the glass matrix. Leucite crystals are responsible for the greater thermal expansion and greater mechanical resistance of the restoration. The cracks that occur on the leucite crystals are stopped or their direction is changed. The crystalline phase absorbs the energy released during the cracks, slowing their formation.

IPS Style is an innovative ceramic material for veneering metal structures, which allows you to achieve the highest quality results and a natural look. A characteristic feature of the materials included in IPS Style is the unique crystal lattice, unprecedented in this type of materials. As a glass ceramics, IPS Style is made of three different crystals: leucite, fluoroapatite and oxyapatite. A novelty in the composition of this material are oxyapatite crystals, which make the restorations made of IPS Style present unprecedented aesthetics.

The content and distribution of crystals in glass ceramics, their viscosity and the carefully selected grain size in the veneering materials affect the physical and chemical properties of the IPS Style material. This principle applies to all layers, from the opaque to the incisal edge, and ensures that the restoration is optimally prepared in terms of bonding, compatibility and aesthetic appearance. Additionally, the contained leucite and fluoroapatite crystals as well as coordinated glass phases give this ceramics exceptional optical properties. The ease of use of this material makes it suitable for beginners and advanced ceramists.

The system is complemented by the universal IPS Ivocolor range of stains and glazes for the individual staining and characterization of ceramic materials.
