Iris scissors are used wherever exceptional precision and control are required when cutting small, thin, or flexible materials.

Application:

• cutting retraction cords: precise cutting of the cord to size before inserting it into the gingival sulcus when preparing abutments for crowns and bridges;
• processing soft denture relinings: trimming excess flexible lining materials (e.g., silicone or acrylic) on the edges of removable dentures;
