- admixtures: Na2O, K2O, CaO, SiO2 and Fe2O;
- specific density: 3.95 +/- 0.5 g/cm3;
- bulk density: 1.52- 1.85 g/cm3;
- hardness: over 9 on the Mohs scale;
- grain shape: sharp-edged.
